Cequence has announced a new partnership with Netskope, a leader in secure access service edge (SASE), to enhance API security capabilities. This partnership allows Netskope customers to leverage Cequence’s Unified API Protection (UAP) platform, unlocking advanced insights into real-world API threats and strengthening organizational security.
API Security: Addressing a Growing Threat
APIs are increasingly being targeted by cybercriminals deploying automated attacks such as bots, exposing organizations to data breaches, compliance violations, and financial loss. The explosive growth of APIs has resulted in a complex threat landscape, requiring comprehensive security solutions.
Partnership for Enhanced API Protection
Netskope’s secure service edge (SSE) platform is now extended with Cequence’s API threat intelligence to safeguard against API vulnerabilities and bot attacks.
“Our partnership with Cequence represents a step forward in realizing our shared vision of a zero-trust world,” said Andy Horwitz, SVP of Global Partner Ecosystems at Netskope. “Customers can now integrate Cequence’s API threat intelligence into our platform, enhancing their ability to protect against API vulnerabilities and confidently pursue digital transformation.”
Leveraging Advanced AI and Machine Learning
Cequence’s advanced machine learning models analyze anonymized traffic data to identify and fingerprint malicious actors and their attack patterns. The integration with Netskope enables multi-dimensional behavioral analysis, distinguishing between legitimate and malicious traffic, including proxy network activity.
“Our advanced AI and machine learning capabilities are designed to identify and neutralize malicious actors worldwide, providing real-time protection for customers’ business-critical APIs,” said Arun Gowda, VP of Business Development at Cequence.
Real-Time Protection and Proactive Threat Intelligence
This integration provides real-time protection by proactively blocking known malicious threats and safeguarding mission-critical APIs and applications. Businesses now benefit from a heightened level of security, ensuring they can respond swiftly to evolving cyber threats.
