Major breakthrough, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) announced the successful arrest of five Chinese nationals and one Singaporean for their alleged involvement in cybercrime activities. The arrests were made following a series of coordinated raids across Singapore on September 9, 2024, marking one of the largest police operations ever carried out in the country.

The operation involved the mobilization of 160 law enforcement officers from several key departments, including the Criminal Investigation Department, Police Intelligence Department, Special Operations Command, and Internal Security Department. The precision raids targeted multiple locations simultaneously, resulting in the arrest of six men, aged between 32 to 42, who are suspected of being linked to a global cybercrime syndicate.
